HVAC/R Facilities Maintenance Course 3 Hybrid
Course Goals and Outcomes
This course covers all the material included in Course 1 and provides advanced training in medium and low-temperature commercial refrigeration applications, heat pumps, installations and air flow. This course helps students achieve a higher level of HVAC/R training, preparing them for career opportunities as heating and air conditioning service technicians, building and facility maintenance engineers or commercial refrigeration service technicians. Students who complete this course will receive their US/EPA Section 608 certification and may test for their North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification.
Note: This program is approved for Federal Financial Aid to those who qualify. Call for more information.
How It Works
This 52-week (12-month) course is a 928 hour training program that is broken down into 50 percent online instruction and 50 percent hands-on learning experiences. Students who participate in this course receive grades based on individual and group projects and attendance. This course will aid in the preparation for the participant’s US/EPA certification test and provides greater opportunities for future employment.
